Musical Sculptures

The “Musical Sculptures” are made from logs of wood, which I pick up after the pruning of trees in the Upper Galilee. I slice the logs, hollow out a sound chamber, and tune the strings in either a Pentatonic or a Diatonic Scale. They can either be hung on a wall, or laid on a table, and are easy to play. The aim was to make a decorative art-piece, which could also be played.
